Tata Motors has launched the Dark editions of the Altroz, Nexon and Nexon EV in India. The company has introduced the Dark Edition pack with the first launch on the Harrier SUV in 2019. Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition
The Tata Nexon EV Dark Edition comes with a starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new electric SUV compact is available in XZ+ and XZ+ LUX variants. The Nexon EV Dark Edition is offering a puncture kit and tyre pressure monitoring systems as standard.
As the name Dark gives the hint of a something dark colour like Black, it gets a Midnight Black exterior body colour, charcoal grey R16 alloy wheels, satin black humanity line and the beltline and a dark mascot. If we talk about its interiors it is claimed that it gets a premium dark theme leather upholstery with tri-arrow perforations on door trims, highlighted EV Blue stitches on the seats and leatherette wrapped steering wheel. The rear gets an armrest with cup holders and an adjustable rear headrest on the Nexon EV XZ+ Dark Edition variant.
Apart from this, its additional features include a sunroof with tilt function, touchscreen infotainment, 35 connected car features by Tata Motors ZConnect (powered by iRA), auto lamps, auto rain-sensing wipers, rear AC vents, FATC, PEPS, and seven-inch TFT digital instrument cluster.
The Tata Nexon EV Dark comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, which is paired with a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor makes 129PS of maximum power and 245Nm of peak torque.
